Seven governors held a virtual meeting where they discussed common challenges and the role their provinces would play in the country's economic and political agenda. According to the Argentine News Agency, participants included Raúl Jalil (Catamarca), Carlos Sadir (Jujuy), Hugo Passalacqua (Misiones), Rolando Figueroa (Neuquén), Alberto Weretilneck (Río Negro), Gustavo Sáenz (Salta), and Osvaldo Jaldo (Tucumán). The meeting reportedly aimed to form a new bloc of governors to improve their negotiation capacity with the government led by Javier Milei, though this was not officially confirmed. It was also learned that several of the governors plan to participate in the Argentina Week event, to be held in New York from March 9 to 12.
