Tinelli Unexpectedly Backs Milei's Reforms

Television host Marcelo Tinelli, known for his criticism of President Javier Milei, has unexpectedly expressed support for the labor and tax reforms he is proposing. In a post on his X social media account, Tinelli called the reforms "excellent," accompanied by several applause emojis. This move was surprising, as Tinelli had previously criticized Milei harshly, stating that he "knows a lot about economics, but is zero politically." Tinelli's criticism was previously directed at the government and the main opposition figure, Cristina Kirchner. He had also expressed indignation over her behavior after the elections and faced criticism from former employees who accused him of not paying their salaries.

"He and his people often have very aggressive attitudes," he questioned. A few days ago, the host shifted his criticism from the Government to Cristina Kirchner, the most important leader of the opposition, who is currently under house arrest. After the legislative elections on Sunday, October 26, Tinelli shared his indignation at seeing Cristina celebrating from the balcony of her house when her party had just lost at the polls.

"Until this situation, where everything depends on her, is over. Until her 'leadership' ends, Peronism is not going to connect with the people, and there are no possibilities for the most popular party to be a logical and honest alternative to govern," the host opined.
