Former Deputy of Misiones Convicted for Serious Crimes

The former deputy of Misiones, Germán Kiczka, who has maintained his innocence from the beginning, expressed his discontent with the ruling that sentenced him to 14 years in prison for possession, facilitation, and distribution of child sexual exploitation material. He stated that he feels politically persecuted and described the judicial process as a "mockery."

In the grounds for the conviction, aggravating factors were highlighted, such as the distribution of files containing child sexual exploitation material, the severity of its content, the organization of the material, and the fact that he was a provincial deputy. His brother, Sebastián, was also sentenced to 12 years in the same case.

During the hearing where the reasons for the sentence were read, Germán Kiczka showed his anger and, after signing the document, reiterated his innocence and reaffirmed that he is a victim of political persecution. Despite being handcuffed, he stated that he has a lot to say and defended himself to local media, asserting that he is not guilty of the crimes alleged against him.
