Passalacqua Announces Suspension of Permanent Positions

The governor of Misiones, Hugo Passalacqua, was the one who highlighted the importance of advancing the infrastructure works agreed upon with the national Executive to continue developing the province. From Passalacqua's administration, it was reported that the loans to be granted are not from the IDB, but from entities such as the Development Bank (Fonplata) and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF).

In a meeting with Finance Minister Adolfo Safrán, Passalacqua presented some of the projects that will be carried out, such as a 500 Kv transformer for the San Isidro area (Posadas Misiones) and the 132 Kv line from San Isidro to Posadas, Leandro N. Alem, and Oberá. Additionally, the importance of resuming the construction of stalled housing in the province was emphasized.

Aligned with the national Executive, Passalacqua made the decision to suspend until the end of the year the appointments of permanent public employees as part of a human resource rationalization measure. This suspension, with exceptions for critical areas such as education, health, police, and security, aims to restrict the increase in spending on job positions in the provincial public administration.
