Investigation into threats against Facundo Manes

Federal prosecutor Ramiro González has requested the initiation of an investigation regarding the complaint filed by radical deputy Facundo Manes against presidential advisor Santiago Caputo for the alleged assaults suffered during the opening of Congress sessions on March 1st. Referring to Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti, the prosecutor requested evidence measures, including the sending of audiovisual material related to the reported events.

Additionally, it has been requested to determine whether any inquiries or administrative actions related to the investigated events have been carried out, as well as whether Manes has assigned security. It was also requested that an official communication be sent to the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Nation to find out if Santiago Caputo has assigned security.

The court in charge of the complaint filed by Facundo Manes for alleged threats is that of Judge Capuchetti. Prosecutor González has requested the collection of all audiovisual material recorded in relation to the reported events, requesting communications to both the head of the Senate, Victoria Villarruel, and the House of Deputies, Martín Menem. It will also be investigated whether the location where the alleged physical assaults took place has security cameras that recorded the incident, requesting their submission in the affirmative case.
