A statement issued by the Teachers in March group, part of the Left and Workers' Front (FIT Unidad), expressed the need for a continuous struggle plan that involves all teaching staff. They denounced the suspension of the strike by the teacher unions of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) and the position considered as 'capitulating' by the Confederation of Education Workers of the Argentine Republic (CTERA).

'We demand from CTERA and the labor centrals the call for a national strike on that day, March 13, and a struggle plan until we defeat the cutbacks,' they indicated in the statement. The call for a national day of struggle for next Wednesday, March 5, was made in conjunction with other union groups. The reason for the strike is for a salary equivalent to the family basket, the defense of jobs, decent working conditions, and in opposition to the 'educational reform' proposed by President Javier Milei and the governors.

In the statement, it was mentioned that participation in marches like International Women's Day and in gatherings against the policies of the right-wing government will be a way to express rejection of the proposed measures. The National Teachers' Coordination of Unions, FND, Sections, leaders, and anti-bureaucratic groups concluded on the importance of continuing the struggle plan initiated with the strike on February 24.

In addition, a proposal for a new national strike on March 13 was announced, aiming to oppose the cuts proposed by Milei and the governors, as well as to reject the anti-educational reforms of the Federal Council that affect the rights to education and that undermine public schooling. The unanimous aspiration is for a salary equivalent to the cost of the family basket, decent working conditions, and the defense of jobs.
