In his message, Milei announced that he would send a project to Congress to sign a new agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In the midst of the controversy over the aggression reported by Facundo Manes, Gutiérrez published a message minimizing the episode and defending Santiago Caputo, Milei's main advisor.
Milei's project involves a disbursement of funds to stabilize the accounts of the Central Bank, allowing the Treasury to settle the debt with the Central Bank. According to Milei, this will not increase the gross debt and will help combat inflation, as well as allowing the lifting of currency controls.
