Tense Confrontation in Congress Between Politicians

During an interview granted by radical deputy Facundo Manes to a reporter from Clarín in Congress, presidential advisor Santiago Caputo approached him aggressively, creating a tense incident. Caputo, accompanied by YouTuber Fran Fijap, directed his evident anger towards Manes, causing a commotion around him.

In the midst of the altercation, Manes expressed his concern over Caputo's actions, who allegedly threatened him. The deputy, who was leaving the chamber, was interrupted in his dialogue with the Clarín journalist by the abrupt presence of the presidential advisor.

After a tense exchange in the Hall of Lost Steps, where Caputo approached Manes aggressively, the latter decided to file a report for violence and threats at the Congress's police station. Amidst the shouting and commotion, Caputo withdrew from the scene, while Manes' caucus leader took care of filing the corresponding complaint.

The episode occurred as a continuation of a tense exchange of glances and words between Manes and Caputo during the legislative assembly. The situation escalated when Manes lifted a copy of the Constitution and showed it to both individuals, triggering the series of events.

In this context, Manes expressed his intention to broaden the complaint, while witnesses present at the scene recorded the incident with their cell phones. Despite the intervention of others to calm the situation, the confrontation between Manes and Caputo reached its peak before the latter left the Congress chamber.
