The president of the block of deputies of Unión por la Patria, Germán Martínez, expressed his rejection of the threat of intervention and the resignation request that Javier Milei conveyed to Axel Kicillof. Martínez warned that this action by President Milei is not only directed at the Buenos Aires governor but at all governors and provinces of the country.
"It is an antifederal proclamation, with requests for resignation and threats of intervention," stated the deputy from Santa Fe. Martínez called on all governors, regardless of their political affiliation, to be aware of the seriousness of the situation.
On the other hand, in a message shared on social media, Milei referred to the situation in Buenos Aires as a "bloodbath" and claimed that Kicillof cannot solve the problem of insecurity. In that sense, he urged the governor to resign and allow for the intervention of the Province.
The president of the block of deputies of Unión por la Patria also criticized the governor's stance and related it to the doctrine of former Supreme Court Justice, Eugenio Zaffaroni. Martínez stated that it is impossible to collaborate with someone who considers criminals as victims, while for them, criminals are responsible and must face the consequences of their actions.
