The leader of Generation Zoe, Leonardo Cositorto, was sentenced to 12 years in prison in Corrientes. His lawyer, Guillermo Dragotto, mentioned that his client is strong, but there are moments when he breaks down. Cositorto was found guilty of leading an illicit association and co-authoring fraud in the province of Corrientes, and they are now hoping to appeal the sentence.

Dragotto explained that from the beginning, the intention to convict Cositorto was evident, despite the pending issues in the judicial process. Both the lawyer and his client trust that the appeal they will present in the coming days will be accepted. For the moment, they are awaiting the grounds for the sentence, which are expected to arrive within a period of 5 to 10 business days in order to submit the Cassation resource.

Despite the strength and innocence Cositorto expresses, Dragotto pointed out that the harsh conditions of the three years he has been detained have had a strong impact on his emotional state, especially not being able to see his son, receive visits, or manage his business. Furthermore, he mentioned the possible expiration of his preventive detentions in Córdoba.

The lawyer stated that the conviction was anticipated in Corrientes and that they will seek strategies to achieve freedom or house arrest for his client until the situation in that jurisdiction is resolved. It is expected that the resolutions of other pending cases in Rosario and Salta will also influence Cositorto's situation.
