During the day on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, the personnel from the Border Posts of Las Cejas, 7 de Abril, Los Mistoles, Cabo Vallejo, and Valentín Jiménez carried out arrests of six men with outstanding warrants for various acts of violence. Two of those arrested were made available to the Justice of Santiago del Estero, while another was presented to the Justice of Tierra del Fuego.
In the vehicle checks conducted by the teams at the Border Posts 7 de Abril on National Route 34 and in Los Mistoles on National Route 157, two young men aged 27 and 29 from Santiago del Estero were detected attempting to enter the province despite having active arrest warrants for minor injuries and judicial disobedience. The officers verified the information about the suspects through the Federal Police Communications System.
In 7 de Abril, another 43-year-old man was arrested for judicial non-compliance in Tierra del Fuego. The remaining three detainees were caught trying to leave the province at the vehicle checks of the posts of Las Cejas, Cabo Vallejo, and Valentín Jiménez, located on Provincial Route 303 and National Route 9.
Two of them had active restraining orders for domestic violence and were required to appear before the provincial Justice, while the third had a pending arrest warrant for serious injuries. The officers were able to access the backgrounds of each driver and vehicle attempting to enter or exit the province through the Federal Police Communications System.
