Controversy Between Marengo and Cirio Heats Up

Rocío Marengo, the current wife of businessman Eduardo Fort, has referred to the connections of Jésica Cirio in a recent statement. "When you like power and being linked to those things, it's strange. She was lucky because she got married super quickly and I've been here for 11 years and I'm still here," commented Marengo. Additionally, she added: "I'm with one of the most important businessmen in Argentina and I don't have that need to show off. I see some girls in the industry and it's disgusting."

Marengo also pointed out that Cirio is "very protected" and questioned the reason behind this protection. "Having been involved in those issues she was, or having been the host of Telefé, the family channel, with such unclear matters, I honestly congratulate her because it speaks very well of her," expressed the media personality. She also highlighted that "many programs do not talk about certain things that one, as the public, would like to know" and she opined that "it's strange how they treat certain topics."

The last confrontation between Rocío Marengo and Jésica Cirio took place in 2013 when Cirio's manager disconnected her from the agency where she worked after Marengo spoke about the model's relationship with her then-partner, Martín Insaurralde. Recently, the conflict between the two was reactivated when Marengo mentioned Cirio's current marriage. Real estate broker Matías Piccirillo, brother of Martín Piccirillo, Cirio's husband, faces accusations of a million-dollar pyramid scheme and, due to this connection, Cirio became involved.

"She must have worked a lot because she has a very high standard of living," added Marengo, making a subtle critique. In her statement, the media personality also reflected: "Many times we all have a pattern, we are attracted to the same style of man."
