An increase in minimum hourly and monthly wages for September and October 2024 has been set for personnel covered by the regime established by Law No. 26,844. An increase of 1.3% has been established starting in December 2024, based on the minimum wages of October 2024; and 1.2% starting in January 2025, based on the minimum wages of December 2024.

The salary scales for domestic workers start from $2,863 per hour starting in February. For those who are paid monthly, the amounts start from $351,233 for those who work with time off performing general tasks and from $390,567 for those who stay overnight at their workplace. Additionally, there is an extra payment for seniority equivalent to 1% for every year worked by the domestic worker in their employment relationship, based on the monthly salaries.

There is also an additional 30% calculated on the minimum wages of each category for employees in the sector who work in disadvantaged areas such as La Pampa, Río Negro, Chubut, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica, and South Atlantic Islands or in the Municipality of Carmen de Patagones.
