The governor of Tucumán reaffirmed his commitment to not allow the presence of territories controlled by criminals or drug traffickers in the province. He emphasized that this is an obligation of the Government to ensure the safety and social peace of the citizens.

In his speech, the provincial leader underscored the importance of working hard to maintain peace in Tucumán, despite the challenges arising from resource scarcity. He highlighted the need to responsibly manage available resources while ensuring attention in key areas such as health, education, and social development.

Regarding the fight against crime, he emphasized the collaboration between the branches of government, stressing the importance of the law that allows prosecutors, judges, and police to act against drug trafficking and crime in general in the province.

The governor pointed out that crime rates, such as drug trafficking and homicides, have decreased in Tucumán thanks to the measures implemented. He highlighted the importance of Operation Lapacho to combat the informal economy and prevent drugs from circulating in the province.

Additionally, he emphasized the government's responsibility to protect private property and the province's heritage, urging a vigorous fight against land usurpations. In this context, equipment and vehicles were delivered to the Police and the Penitentiary Service as part of measures to strengthen security in the region.
