Former president Alberto Fernández expressed his opinion today regarding Javier Milei's government, arguing that it is closely related to the case against him for gender violence from the beginning. Fernández mentioned that he does not consider it a coincidence that the defense of Fabiola Yañez, his former first lady, has publicly supported the cryptocurrency scandal, particularly through Mauricio D'Alessandro, the husband of Mariana Gallego, Yañez's lawyer and a defender of Milei on social media.
In reference to the indictment announced against him today, Alberto Fernández expressed feeling much pain about the situation, especially as he approaches his 66 years and finds himself summoned as a defendant by a judge. He referred to the legal cases he is facing recently, highlighting the gender violence case as absurd, and mentioned a lost chat as the trigger for it.
The former president also commented on Judge Julián Ercolini, calling him unserious and criticizing his decision to indict him without addressing the responses he had provided in his questioning. Fernández stressed the scam related to President Javier Milei and the cryptocurrency $LIBRA, claiming that he hoped his case would be mentioned again as a way to distract attention from that scandal.
