The PRO prepares for electoral strategy in Buenos Aires

On February 17, the PRO will convene mayors from the province of Buenos Aires to work on the electoral strategy ahead of this year’s legislative elections. It is expected that at the national headquarters of the party, led by the Vice President of PRO National and Provincial, Soledad Martínez, and the President of PRO provincial, Cristian Ritondo, several important topics will be addressed.

The meeting will also be attended by Diego Santilli and will take place amidst rumors of a possible merger with La Libertad Avanza. It is important to remember that recently, Mauricio Macri met with the executive board of PRO to discuss the current political situation, especially due to the departure of leaders to the party led by Javier Milei.

During the previous meeting, Alfredo De Angeli was appointed as the president of the PRO bloc in the upper house following the resignation of Luis Juez, and the possibility of an alliance with La Libertad Avanza was evaluated. Confirmed participants for the event include several mayors, such as Guillermo Montenegro, Pablo Petrecca, María José Gentile, Javier Martínez, Juan Manuel Ibarguren, Diego Reyes, Marcelo Matzkin, as well as provincial legislators Alejandro Rabinovich and Matías Ranzini.
