On October 28, a complaint was filed regarding an alleged case of information manipulation by the newspaper Infobae. It was claimed in a report that a case was being developed that was not documented in the file. According to the representative of the Polo Obrero, this evidences a manipulation of the case of a political nature, guided by Bullrich and the government with the cooperation of the judicial system.
The complaint led to a clash of statements between Luis Majul and Belliboni, a member of the Polo Obrero. Majul questioned how Belliboni had advance information, insinuating illegal leaks from the court. In this regard, Belliboni's lawyer, Liliana Alaniz, pointed out that information is being leaked to pro-government media, highlighting the lack of neutrality in the criminal process.
Amidst this, a solidarity campaign against the prosecutions of Polo Obrero militants continues. The resolution of the Federal Chamber of Appeals that confirmed the prosecutions was criticized and considered an attempt to distort the true nature of popular mobilizations.
Néstor Pitrola, from the Workers' Party, denounced the ongoing judicial process and criticized the supposed collaboration between the services, the judiciary, and the media to discredit through judicial actions. Majul, for his part, threatened to report Belliboni for alleged violation of correspondence and illegal espionage, which generated more controversy.
Lawyer Alaniz expressed her concern over the leaking of information to the press before it reaches the hands of the legally involved parties, indicating a serious violation of judicial procedure. According to Belliboni, this situation is not new and has been used to demonize social organizations in the past.
Since the beginning of the case against the leaders of the Polo Obrero, it has been argued that the Federal Chamber has adopted a policy that criminalizes the organization of mobilizations and the funding of fighting groups, considering basic elements of organization as coercive. All this, amidst an attempt to divert attention following anti-fascist and anti-racist demonstrations.
