The national leader of the Nuevo MAS, Manuela Castañeira, urged people to mobilize next Saturday for the federal antifascist march, assuring that thousands will be on the streets to put an end to the hate speeches of President Javier Milei.

"The call continues to grow, and we are convinced that we will be thousands on the streets to end Milei's hate speeches and make it clear that we will never go back to the closet!" emphasized Castañeira using inclusive language.

The "Federal March of Antifascist and Anti-Racist Pride" was called by various LGBTIQ+ collectives and will take place on Saturday at 4 PM in Plaza del Congreso, with a subsequent mobilization to Plaza de Mayo.

The reason for the call was Milei's controversial statements in Switzerland, associating homosexuality with pedophilia, criticizing the "gender ideology," and promising to remove the figure of femicide from the Penal Code.

In Castañeira's words: "On Saturday, a massive mobilization will occupy Plaza de Mayo and the plazas across the country to create a crisis for this government that cannot gather even a hundred people to support its fascist discourse."

Castañeira also pointed out: "Milei thought he could direct a fascist attack from Switzerland without consequences and ignited the country again. Now he will receive a lesson because in Argentina, fascist speeches are not welcome."

The leader warned that every attempt to trample democratic conquests such as the rights of diverse groups, the figure of femicide, or public education will be confronted by a democratic society in the streets.

Furthermore, she criticized other opposition spaces for their passivity towards Milei's government: "While the opposing forces play for governability and let everything pass, workers, youth, and diverse groups do not remain silent. That is why, this Saturday, the plaza will resonate with the cry of Enough of Milei!".

In summary, Castañeira concluded: "If Milei tests us, he is testing himself as a government."
