On Saturday, February 1st, a march took place from Congress to Plaza de Mayo and in all provinces of Argentina with a clear and emphatic message: "No to fascism, no to hate speech," as expressed by the grouping belonging to Union por la Patria. The party, led by Mario Secco, mayor of Ensenada, issued a statement through its digital platforms denouncing the exclusionary, unequal, and hateful practices promoted by Javier Milei, highlighting the importance of rejecting class and gender violence.
The Federal March "anti-fascist and anti-racist" carried out by various groups from the LGBT community and sectors opposed to Milei's Government has received the support of Frente Grande. Under the slogan "The homeland is not sold, pride is defended," this mobilization seeks to emphasize the importance of defending national interests and rejecting any form of discrimination.
In a statement, it was emphasized that the destruction of the Argentine state has devastating consequences, especially for the most vulnerable sectors of society. Frente Grande, led by Secco, includes prominent figures like Matías Lammens, Eduardo Sigal, and others, who have pointed out that Milei's approach to feminism and diversity hides an attack on the rights of the majorities that have historically suffered inequalities. In the party's words: "He has chosen feminism and diversity as enemies, but the true target is the rights of the large majorities that suffer historical inequalities."
