Former national deputy for the Civic Coalition, Elisa Carrió, criticized President Javier Milei and expressed her concern about the speech he gave in Davos, considering it a violation of the National Constitution. In an open letter published on her social media, Carrió stated that Milei's words must respect the Constitution and the laws, as they are expressed in his capacity as Head of State of Argentina.
"Any speech or acts expressly directed to violate the National Constitution effectively turns this Government into terms of the mentioned constitutional article," Carrió declared. According to the former official, Milei's speeches contain expressions contrary to the human rights established in the Magna Carta and international treaties with constitutional hierarchy.
Carrió emphasized that any act or presidential expression that violates the laws lacks legality and becomes an act contrary to the rule of law. In this sense, the former deputy warned that it is inappropriate for the content of Milei's speeches to be systematically stated in a manner contrary to the human rights protected by the Constitution.
