The Secretary General of the CTA of Workers and National Deputy, Hugo Yasky, harshly criticized President Milei while discussing his statements in Davos. Yasky pointed out that "Milei tries to build a new internal enemy every day and is digging his own grave."
In addition, he confirmed that the two CTAs are coordinating the call for the antifascist federal march to be held next Saturday, and mentioned the importance of the Peronism speaking out on this matter. According to Yasky, it is key for the entire political spectrum to manifest, including those who voted for Milei.
The deputy from the Frente de Todos emphasized the need to construct a scenario of unity, to reconstitute a multiparty framework with a broad front of different social sectors, and to understand the points on the agenda that are relevant to the citizenry. Likewise, he urged the young people who voted for Milei not to stand aside from the call and to raise their voices against speeches that may be considered unacceptable.
Yasky concluded by stating that in other countries, Milei's statements would justify a political trial. He expressed confidence that society is giving a healthy response to the president's remarks and highlighted the importance of protesting against stances that may relate homosexuality to pedophilia or deny the existence of femicides.
