Public Hearing on Electricity Rates in Argentina

The National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE) called for a Public Hearing on February 25, aimed at discussing the tariff proposals for the transportation of electrical energy. The call was made through Resolution 74/2025 published in the Official Bulletin.

The event will take place at 8:30 AM and can be attended virtually via a digital platform, the information for which will be available on the ENRE website.

The Hearing is part of the Five-Year Tariff Review Process (RQT) that will determine the tariff schedules to be applied by the concessionary companies during the period 2025-2029. This process was initiated following the declaration of emergency in the energy sector by the National Executive Power in December 2023, encompassing the generation, transportation, and distribution of electrical energy.

The purpose of the hearing is to present and listen to opinions on the tariff proposals submitted by the participating companies, including TRANSENER S.A., TRANSBA S.A., TRANSPA S.A., DISTROCUYO S.A., EPEN, TRANSNEA S.A., TRANSNOA S.A., and TRANSCOMAHUE S.A. Anyone invoking a subjective right, simple interest, or collective incidence right, whether as a natural or legal person, public or private, may participate in the hearing, with the possibility of doing so through representatives in the case of legal entities.
