Various sources from the legislative sphere have mentioned the possibility of a upcoming meeting at Casa Rosada to address politically relevant topics. Although there has been speculation about it, there is currently no confirmed formal invitation.
Among those possibly invited to this meeting are Senators Juan Carlos Romero, Carlos 'Camau' Espínola, Alejandro Vischi, Ezequiel Atauche, and perhaps Lucila Crexell. From PRO, the relationship with the Executive is maintained through Luis Juez, despite his intentions to join another parliamentary bloc.
Victoria Villarruel, from the Senate leader's surroundings, has revealed that she has not received an invitation to participate in this meeting nor specific instructions to begin negotiations.
Regarding the legislative agenda, the Senate is expected to address the appointments of Ariel Lijo and Manuel García Mansilla to the Supreme Court, as well as the Antimafia Law project. However, some senators express the need to be formally convened before participating in these discussions.
The Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, has scheduled meetings with both allied bloc leaders from the Chamber of Deputies and with Senate representatives. The goal is to pave the way for the approval of projects submitted by the Executive before the deadline of February 21.
Francos is expected to meet with the leaders of the Deputies' blocs, Cristian Ritondo and Rodrigo De Loredo, to open the debate on pending issues. Although invitations were extended to other leaders like Miguel Ángel Pichetto and Oscar Zago, both declined to participate in this meeting.
Some sources close to the Integration and Development Movement have denied having been invited to this meeting, despite rumors indicating otherwise.
