Agents from the "Trancas" Control Post of the 55th Gendarmerie Squadron in Tucumán stopped a "shopping tour" transport coming from Salta. During the inspection, they noticed that two packages containing technological devices had excessive weight compared to their size.
After receiving authorization from the Federal Court of Tucumán, the officials proceeded to open the devices and found 8 packages containing a white substance inside. The packages turned out to be cocaine, with a total weight of 5 kilograms 741 grams.
The owner of the technological devices and the drugs was arrested, while the corresponding proceedings were carried out and both the drugs and the items of interest for the case were seized.
