The renowned journalist Jorge Lanata continues his recovery process and shows signs of improvement. After being attended by the medical team at the Hospital Italiano, meetings were held with specialists from the Santa Catalina Clinic and the Fleni Institute in Escobar, where he was hospitalized prior to his intestinal ischemia.
In the next stage of his treatment, his transfer to the Santa Catalina Neurorehabilitation Center is planned for next week, in order to continue advancing in his evolution process. Doctor and journalist Martín Carrizo has kept in touch with Bárbara Lanata, Jorge's daughter, to inform about his father's current situation.
Carrizo shared that Jorge Lanata shows slight improvement and that in the coming days he will have a gastric button placed. The transfer to the neurorehabilitation center will be carried out with precautions, scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, depending on the evolution of his health condition.
It is important to be cautious with the dissemination of information, as Lanata is considered a high-risk patient. The transfer to the next phase of his treatment will depend on how his condition evolves. Since being admitted to the Hospital Italiano for a urinary infection on November 14, the journalist has faced several health complications and has undergone four surgeries related to his intestinal ischemia.
