Jorge Lanata's Radio Salary Controversy Continues

The legal situation of Jorge Lanata and his family continues to generate controversy, and recently the decision made by Radio Mitre regarding the program hosted by the renowned journalist has been revealed. Pía Shaw reported on A la Barbarossa that the station has decided to stop paying Lanata's salary, arguing that the radio he works for has already informed the family that the contract will end in November.

The reason behind this measure seems to be the substantial salary agreed upon between Lanata and the media, which continues to be paid despite the journalist's absence due to health issues. According to Analía Franchín, Lanata agreed to a millionaire salary as a figure of the radio, however, it would have been established that starting from November 30, that agreement would come to an end. It was also mentioned that the journalist's alimony amounts to about 7 million pesos, highlighting the magnitude of the financial situation he is in.

After Radio Mitre's decision became known, speculations arose about who could take Lanata's place on "Lanata sin filtro". Despite this, Tartu, a collaborator of the program, clarified that currently, no replacement is being sought and that Jéssica Bossi will continue to host the cycle until the end of the year.

Regarding Jorge Lanata's health, it has been reported that he is hospitalized at the Italiano Hospital after undergoing several surgical interventions, showing signs of improvement. Although the progress in his health condition is encouraging, not all news surrounding his situation is positive.
