Journalist Jorge Lanata remains hospitalized and favorable news about his health has been reported. While much remains for his recovery, it has been mentioned that he will be transferred for a neurological recovery process.
In a statement on the program "Mañanísima", it was detailed that once Lanata shows significant improvement, he will be transferred to his wife Elba Marcovecchio's home, which is better prepared for the special care he will require.
Despite being awake and with his eyes open, he still cannot fully connect. There has been discussion about the possibility of his transfer to Santa Catalina for rehabilitation, something that, according to Yanina Latorre, will be crucial for his recovery.
The surgery he underwent was successful, and his eldest daughter, Bárbara Lanata, reported through a message on "Socios del Espectáculo" that during the weekend her father was able to sit up, thus showing signs of improvement. Bárbara also shared that Jorge was curious to know what had happened during his time of convalescence and that home rehabilitation has been ruled out.
It has been noted that Jorge Lanata will be seated twice a day as part of his recovery process and the possibility of him being rehabilitated in a specialized center instead of at home is being considered.
