Argentine actress Zulma Lobato is going through a difficult period. After being attacked with pepper spray at an ATM, she lost her vision in her right eye. The necessary surgery costs five million pesos, a sum she cannot afford. "If a thousand people could help me with five thousand pesos each, I could pay for the operation," she sincerely asked. In addition to financial and health problems, Zulma is also suffering from family estrangement: "I have no contact with my nieces. It hurts, but I keep moving forward." Despite everything, she tries to maintain the optimism that characterized her television career: "I don't want to be pitied, I just ask for a chance to get ahead." Her story reflects the harsh realities that many artists face after years of fame, ending up without support. While she tries to raise money for surgery and avoid eviction, the actress hopes to regain her independence and shine again, as she did so many times in front of the cameras. "My lawyer told me it's very likely I'll be on the street in a year. I can't afford the electricity, gas, or water. I'm very sad," Zulma shared. She explained that her income is insufficient to cover basic expenses: "The owner wants to charge me $400,000, and I earn $358,000. Plus, I have $35,000 in fixed taxes. Everything is very expensive." The situation is aggravated by health problems she has had since the violent robbery she suffered last year: "I'm almost blind in my right eye. I need surgery to restore my vision. I live with my 12-year-old dog, who is like a daughter to me."
