The National Weather Service (SMN) has renewed a severe thunderstorm warning, with possible hail and gusty winds, for various regions of the country. According to the report, areas under a yellow alert, including provinces such as Córdoba, San Luis, La Pampa, and Mendoza, will be affected by rain and storms, some of them locally strong. Accumulated precipitation values between 30 and 40 mm are expected, which could be exceeded in certain areas. There is also a risk of frequent electrical activity and occasional hail. Authorities recommend taking precautions: avoid outdoor activities, do not seek shelter near trees or power poles that could fall, and stay away from beaches, rivers, lagoons, or pools to minimize the risk of being struck by lightning. Be alert to the possibility of hail and stay informed by authorities. Always have an emergency backpack ready with a flashlight, radio, documents, and your phone.
