The family of Lian Flores, the missing boy in Ballesteros Sud, a town in Córdoba, remains firm in their belief that the little boy is alive and they trust that he will be returned. Despite the lack of any detainees or charges in the case, two possible scenarios are being considered: a kidnapping for exploitation or an accident in the area. Lian's father, Elías Flores, in an interview with El DoceTv, expressed his hope and desperation about the current situation.
Elías stated: "My son is alive. If we receive any support, toys or candies, we keep something for when his little brother arrives." In the midst of the uncertainty regarding Lian's whereabouts, Elías highlighted: "We know nothing from Justice. If we hadn’t done it, we would have looked." The lack of information from the authorities due to the confidentiality order in the case has caused frustration in the family, which demands concrete data on the progress of the investigation.
Regarding the younger members of the family, Elías mentioned: "The kids are also asking when he will return. We have faith in our creator and we believe that he is alive." Meanwhile, investigations into cell phones, security cameras, and the collaboration of international agencies continue in the case of Lian's disappearance. Elías emphasized: "We are suffering."
The family holds onto hope that Lian will return safe and sound and regrets not being informed about the details of the investigation conducted by Justice. The feeling of anguish and longing grows stronger as time passes since the boy's disappearance. In a final plea, Elías expressed: "Our belief is that someone took him."
