The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) allows individuals to obtain a Negative Certification online, indicating lack of social security coverage and other benefits. The process is straightforward via the ANSES website or mobile app, valid for 30 days.

ANSES Introduces New Negative Certification Process

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES), which is part of the Ministry of Human Capital, offers the possibility of obtaining the Negative Certification through its Mi ANSES platform, either by accessing the official website or using the corresponding application. This certificate verifies that the person is not affiliated with a health insurance plan, has no contributions as an employee in a dependent relationship or in domestic work, is not registered as a self-employed or small tax contributor, and does not receive benefits from ANSES or participate in social programs.

The Negative Certification does not require a stamp or signature from any ANSES official and is valid for 30 days. To obtain it through the website, you must enter the CUIL and the period to be consulted, which must be within the last six months. In the case of using the mobile application, in addition to the CUIL, the Social Security Key is required.

The Negative Certification is a document that certifies the absence of sworn declarations as an employee in a dependent relationship, the lack of sworn statements from provinces not adhering to the Argentine Comprehensive Pension System, the non-receipt of social benefits, transfers as a self-employed person, small tax contributor, or domestic worker, and the non-receipt of maternity allowances for domestic staff, among others. This document is relevant in processes and dealings with ANSES, as it demonstrates the lack of income or contributions in various categories.

On another note, ANSES is responsible for setting requirements and procedures for granting payments and social benefits to citizens. In addition, this entity provides relevant information about payment dates, legislative updates, and other aspects of interest for those receiving pension benefits in Argentina.
