A brutal collision occurred on General Paz Avenue when a bus crashed into a truck from behind. The accident took place this Thursday at noon, at the height of the Perito Moreno highway, in Buenos Aires.

The crash left 11 passengers and the bus driver with several injuries. All the injured were taken to different hospitals in the area. Alberto Crescenti, head of SAME, reported that 49 passengers were evaluated on-site and 12 of them needed to be transported to medical centers by ambulance due to the severity of their injuries.

The collision was so intense that the front part of the bus was completely destroyed. The driver of the vehicle was trapped and had to be rescued by firefighters. Crescenti mentioned that the driver suffered the most serious injuries and had to be anesthetized at the scene due to the level of pain he was experiencing.

As a result of the accident, there was a significant traffic congestion on General Paz Avenue heading towards the province of Buenos Aires, affecting other nearby routes. Emergency personnel from SAME, City Firefighters, traffic safety agents, and police intervened at the scene to assist the victims and manage the situation.

This accident highlights once again the importance of respecting traffic rules and driving with caution to prevent these terrible incidents on public roads.
