A brutal murder has shaken the province of Tucumán, Argentina. Alexis Oscar Rogers, a 50-year-old stage technician, was killed in the early hours of Sunday at the 'Sutton' bar. He had come to celebrate the birth of his grandson with his son. The incident began when the Rogers were denied entry as the bar was closing. The argument escalated into a fight on the sidewalk, during which Rogers was beaten by security guards. Security cameras captured one of the guards strangling him. An initial report determined that the cause of death was mechanical asphyxiation. Four security guards, aged 22, 36, 49, and 50, have been detained. The bar has been closed. The Argentine Union of Stage Technicians (SATE) expressed its grief over the murder of their colleague.
