BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 7 (NA) – Following the transfer of San Martín's saber, President Javier Milei participated this Saturday. Although it is the ultimate symbol of the feat, the saber was not used by the Liberator in this specific battle, though it was in the rest of the continental campaign. According to the Argentine News Agency, it was expected that 30 to 40 grenadiers on horseback would recreate the historic 'cavalry charge' from the exact location of the events to the river. The anticipation was so great that the presence of more than 60,000 people was expected. The relic was the centerpiece of the recreation of the 1813 battle held this afternoon at the Campo de la Gloria.
