With distance and nostalgia, Tobal and López agreed that that non-existent media romance remained as an unforgettable anecdote. The reunion took place on the set of 'Juego Chino' (Telefé), where both recalled the supposed romance that circulated in the early 2000s. As they clarified, such a romance never existed. From the beginning of the conversation, both agreed to define that story as a bond built from television: 'We had a romance that never happened, a media one,' explained López, while Tobal completed the idea by describing it as a 'television romance.' The origin of the version dates back to a special edition for Children's Day on Channel 13, where they shared the air and starred in a game that included several kisses. That sequence was enough for the public and the media to install the idea of a sentimental relationship. 'He was a reporter for CQC and I was an actress who was just starting,' recalled Tobal, to which López, with humor, defined himself as an 'incipient reporter,' although the actress corrected him between laughs by emphasizing that they were both taking their first steps. Among anecdotes, they also evoked how the rumor moved to daily life, where López recounted that in the street they would say phrases to him like 'the blonde is going to get you,' while Tobal remembered similar comments directed at her. The exchange closed with jokes about the language of the time and the style of television in those years, where 'camera pokes' were part of the show.
