A 35-year-old man was found dead in an advanced state of decomposition on the railway tracks in the city of San Nicolás, Buenos Aires Province, and the Justice is investigating the causes of death. According to the police report accessed by the Argentine News Agency (NA), the victim was identified as José Ricardo Moyano Acevedo, and the body was located after a 911 call in a railway sector located between Cavalli and Cochabamba streets. According to the initial proceedings, officers from the Patrol Command arrived at the scene and confirmed that the corpse was in an advanced state of decomposition, so the Scientific Police was immediately called in to process the scene. The deceased's partner, Yolanda Luján Genta, 39, also came to the scene, stating that she had had an argument with Moyano Acevedo four days prior and that, after the conflict, he had left their shared home. The official communication indicated that the man had a criminal record and a problematic consumption of alcohol and other substances, which will be considered as material for analysis in the judicial investigation. The on-duty judge was notified of the discovery and ordered the corresponding autopsy to be performed, while the case was filed as “investigation into the causes of death,” as the investigation tasks continue.
