
According to a private survey, 80% of Argentine entrepreneurs believe that the economy will improve in the next 12 months. The Vistage Confidence Index, based on the responses of 352 entrepreneurs in the country, showed an increase of 15 points in the third quarter, reaching 113 points compared to the previous quarter.
The survey highlights that 80% of entrepreneurs are confident in an economic improvement in the future, while 66% believe that the volume of units in their company will increase in the same period. Additionally, 49% project an increase in investment in fixed assets and 48% plan to increase the total number of employees in the next year.
Regarding current concerns of entrepreneurs, 25% mentioned rising costs, followed by 24% who pointed to economic uncertainty and 19% who mentioned difficulties in hiring and retaining staff. Furthermore, 14% highlighted financial issues and the same percentage expressed concerns related to the growth of their businesses.
The report emphasizes that the percentage of entrepreneurs who believe that the profitability of their companies will remain the same in the coming months has increased compared to the previous quarter. Moreover, the perception of a worsening economic situation in Argentina compared to the previous year has decreased significantly in this latest quarter.
