An influential consultancy, EcoGo, estimated that October's inflation was around 2.8%. Marina Dal Poggetto, the director of the consultancy, noted that this value exceeds the new floor established in September, which was 3.5%, the lowest since November 2021.

In line with Dal Poggetto's view, President Javier Milei has referred to this phenomenon as "inflation induced by the economic program." Every month, the peso depreciates by 2% due to the "crawling peg," which directly affects prices. In this context, EcoGo warned of an acceleration in food inflation, which has been below 3% in the last two months but would have been positioned above the general index in October.

Despite this, the absence of increases in tariffs, the decrease in gasoline prices, and stability in other sectors would have compensated for this increase, resulting in an estimated monthly inflation of 2.8% for October. Despite certain differences, the consensus among market consultancies is that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) will be slightly above 3%, although always below the previous month's records.

According to measurements from various firms, PriceStats identified a monthly inflation of around 2.36%, while Equilibra and Analytica projected 3.1% and 3.2%, respectively, for the same period. The consultancy LCG, on its part, estimated that the cost of living in October would reach 3.3%.
