The national government officially announced on Monday the increase in entry fees to the National Parks across the country. The update of the values detailed in Annex 1 of Resolution 228/2024 will include the continuation of promotional prices to encourage a diversity of experiences. Additionally, two categories will be added with specific benefits: Students and Malvinas War Veterans (the latter will be exempt from total payment).
The text published in the Official Bulletin establishes that there will be a 50% discount on the Access Fee for the second day of visit in several National Parks, such as Iguazu, Los Glaciares, Tierra del Fuego, among others. This discount only applies to tickets purchased specifically.
Resolution 228/2024 also introduces the category 'Students' for all student visitors, regardless of their residence or educational level. Likewise, the category 'Exempt' is created for Malvinas War Veterans in recognition of the former combatants of the conflict.
In addition to the promotional rates for 3 and 7-day entries, an Annual Pass is introduced that allows unlimited access to all National Parks and Protected Areas for one year. The amounts collected from these sales through the web will be allocated to the regulatory body.
Regarding the updated entry fees to different National Parks, they vary depending on the location and the condition of the visitor. For example, entry to Iguazu National Park for provincial residents is $5000, while the cost for students is $7000. Each park has its own specific prices and discounts, which are detailed in the Resolution.
