Changes in Disney+ policies in Argentina

Disney+ has informed its users that it will implement periodic account reviews to prevent password sharing and ensure legal and monitored usage. Those who do not comply with the new policies may face restrictions in accessing their accounts in order to maintain the sustainability of the service and provide a quality viewing experience for all subscribers.

In Argentina, Disney+ offers two main plans. The Standard Plan includes the full Disney+ catalog, Star's series and movies without ads, and access to the ESPN and ESPN3 sports channels. Starting November 12, 2024, sharing passwords with people who do not live in the same household will no longer be allowed as a measure to prevent account misuse.

For those who wish to continue sharing their subscription, Disney+ offers two additional payment options. An additional member can be added to the standard plan for a monthly cost of $7 or to the premium plan for $10, in a decision that follows the trend of streaming platforms to end free account sharing.

The Premium Plan, on the other hand, offers everything from the Standard Plan and includes the full ESPN sports catalog, including basic linear channels and exclusive events. With 4K UHD and HDR video quality, and audio compatible with Dolby Atmos, it allows playback on four devices simultaneously and downloads on multiple devices.

These measures from Disney+ follow the line of other platforms like Netflix, adapting to market needs and seeking to ensure a quality and controlled service for its subscribers.
