Banco Provincia has launched a special promotion through its Cuenta DNI platform, which has over 10 million users, aimed at stimulating consumption and digitalizing payments in the province and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Clients enrolled in the Mesumo program can redeem points for 20%, 30%, or 40% discounts until February 10. The promotion does not require proof of purchase and is subject to limited stock: 5,000 pesos for the 20% discount and 2,500 pesos for each of the 30% and 40% discounts. The discount is applied per transaction until the limit is reached, and unused balances cannot be transferred beyond February 28, 2026. From an economic perspective, the initiative aims to boost retail spending while also promoting the use of electronic payment methods and strengthening customer relationships. Reimbursements will be credited to the account from which the payment was made within 10 business days after the purchase. The promotion is cumulative with other active discounts. Participation is exclusive to payments made through the functions in the Cuenta DNI app: "Pagar QR" and "Pagar Clave DNI". The reimbursement caps are unified based on the chosen discount: 20% discount up to 10,000 pesos, 30% up to 20,000 pesos, and 40% up to 30,000 pesos. The "unified" cap means the maximum reimbursement is calculated on the total purchases made per account during the promotion period. The points can be redeemed at all merchants that accept this payment method.
