National Route 151, in the section connecting the towns of Algarrobo del Águila and 25 de Mayo in La Pampa province, is once again at the center of controversy due to its severe state of deterioration, lack of works, and abandonment of road maintenance.
Through a video published on Instagram, user Juan Cruz Femenia (@juanchi.femenia) denounced the extreme conditions of transit and alerted to the permanent risk for those traveling on one of the country's most important corridors.
"It's 70 kilometers of potholes you can't even drive on," he recounts while showing the destroyed asphalt.
Meanwhile, the lack of construction and maintenance continues to cause damage to vehicles, logistics delays, and the risk of serious accidents on a national corridor that highlights the abandonment of road infrastructure and the urgency of a concrete response to avoid greater consequences.
"It's a disgrace, a slap in the face to all Argentines," he insists and questions how such deterioration can be justified:
"You have to be very shameless to defend such irresponsibility."
According to what the Argentine News Agency learned, National Route 151 is key to connectivity between provinces, fuel transport, regional production, and Patagonian tourism, but its collapse directly impacts the economy and the safety of thousands of people.
"It's 70 kilometers of potholes that you can't even drive on," the travel influencer expresses angrily.
"It's a lack of respect for the citizen," he expressed with indignation.
"The potholes are deadly," warns the user, reflecting a situation that has been repeating for years.
The province is pushing for a multi-million dollar investment to repair a key production route.
The travel influencer also pointed to the sustained absence of maintenance on a strategic route in southern Argentina.
"I have been traveling to the south for over 10 years and it's the same."
The images show an endless succession of deep potholes that force travel at 5 or 10 kilometers per hour, generating abrupt maneuvers, constant braking, and a high-risk scenario for road safety.
"Wherever you look, there are potholes."
