According to the report, 24 municipalities do not comply. The report also noted that “68 districts disseminate without delay the quarterly information on their budget execution, while 8 municipalities do so with a one-quarter delay; and 4 municipalities maintain publications with a six-month delay. Meanwhile, 55 municipalities did not publish the execution of their resources and expenses.” Regarding information on the stock of public debt and its maturity profiles, 68 districts have published data as of the third quarter of 2025, while 61 do not show information on indebtedness and 6 municipalities do so with delays exceeding that period. On the other hand, 83 municipalities comply with the publication of the current budget's revenue calculation as well as the expenditure budget, while one does so partially, disclosing only expense information, and the remaining 51 parties do not show any information on the current budget on their websites. The economic and financial situation (SEF), which must be made public every six months by law, is regularly disclosed by 69 local governments with data for the third quarter of 2025, 40 with data for the second quarter of 2025, and 2 municipalities as of March 31, 2025. While regarding the rest of the municipalities, 18 districts are at a medium level; 28 show low or regular compliance and the remaining 21 low or null. Buenos Aires, December 25 (NA) – 36% of the municipalities in the province of Buenos Aires still show low levels of transparency in access to information on their public accounts, according to a survey by the Argentine Association of Budget and Financial Administration (ASAP). The study, accessed by the Argentine News Agency, revealed that 63 Buenos Aires municipalities, that is, almost 47% of the total, have strict compliance in the availability of fiscal and budgetary information, by reaching the maximum score in the entity's transparency index (100 points). In addition, five municipalities obtain a level greater than or equal to 75 points, obtaining a high level of visibility in the transparency index.
