The Buenos Aires district of Escobar hosted the Pre-India AI Impact Summit 2025, an international event that previews one of the world's main forums on artificial intelligence, scheduled to take place in February 2026 in New Delhi.

The event was led by Escobar's mayor, Ariel Sujarchuk, alongside the Ambassador of India, Ajaneesh Kumar; the Director of International Relations at the Digital Innovation Institute, Claudio Martínez; and the co-founder and CEO of Innova Tools, Javier Parysow.

During the day, the main axes of the upcoming India AI Impact Summit were addressed, including the development of public digital infrastructure, the implementation of low-compute and accessible artificial intelligence models, and the promotion of alliances between governments, companies, and universities.

«The purpose of any technological advancement is for the benefit of humanity,» stated Kumar, who announced scholarships for students and researchers from Escobar to foster academic, cultural, and business exchanges between the two countries.

The event also included a panel moderated by Martínez, with the participation of Sujarchuk, Parysow, and Marcos Suárez Alais from Easy Commerce – CACE.

Additionally, a networking cocktail with B2B and B2G modalities was held, facilitating meetings between the public and private sectors and international organizations.

Escobar is part of the Coalition of Cities for Artificial Intelligence (CIIAR) and has been promoting various initiatives related to technology, such as the Mobility Observatory launched in collaboration with Google, Ualabee, and Waze, and the Mi Bus travel planner, integrated into the Escobar 360° platform.

In October, the district became the first in the country to pass an ordinance regulating the ethical use of artificial intelligence in public administration.

Furthermore, its virtual assistant Flora was recently awarded by the Argentine Institute of Artificial Intelligence for its innovation in citizen service.

«The purpose of any technological advancement is for the benefit of humanity,» stated Kumar.
