Due to a long weekend, the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires has decided to restrict the circulation of trucks on main tourist routes. This measure aims to facilitate traffic flow and prevent accidents on key roads for local tourism. The restriction applies on specific days and hours to several provincial highways. For instance, from 2:00 PM to 11:59 PM on Thursday and in the opposite direction on Monday, trucks with a gross weight of over 7 tons are prohibited from driving. The restriction does not apply to certain categories of vehicles, including the transport of milk, live animals, frozen fish, fruits and vegetables, medicines, fuel, as well as emergency service vehicles.
Buenos Aires Restricts Truck Traffic for Long Weekend
