The American magazine Wine Enthusiast has named the Argentine winery Luigi Bosca "New World Winery of the Year" at the 2025 Wine Star Awards, one of the most influential recognitions in the industry.
In this edition, the jury highlighted Luigi Bosca's ability to combine tradition and avant-garde, as well as its global operation, which has projected "a century of luxury winemaking, high-quality Malbecs, and Mendoza excellence" to the world.
"We are deeply proud to receive this award that celebrates more than a century of history dedicated to excellence," stated Alberto Arizu (h), representative of the fourth generation of the family.
"This award inspires us to continue looking to the future with the same conviction as my great-grandfather Leoncio did in 1901," he added.
The awards gala will take place on January 26, 2026, in New York.
The award celebrates the trajectory, consistency, and contribution of the Mendoza-based company to the sector's development throughout its 125-year history.
The Wine Star Awards each year recognize individuals and companies who have made a mark in the world of wine and spirits.
With a presence in over 60 markets, Luigi Bosca has established itself as one of the country's leading wineries and an ambassador for the terroir of Mendoza.
"We celebrate this award as a recognition for all of Argentine viticulture," said Arizu, highlighting the talent and perseverance of the sector in positioning national wines on the world stage.
