Argentina Government Increases Disability Benefits

The national government, through the National Disability Agency (ANDIS), has activated a significant increase of between 29% and 35% in the tariff schedule for disability service providers. According to Argentine News, citing an official communiqué, this improvement will be implemented in three successive stages between October and December 2025. The increase was made possible by an 'administrative decision of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers' and, according to ANDIS, 'aims to strengthen the care system, ensuring that benefits are above the projected inflation for 2025'. This increase will benefit the professionals and providers who provide essential services such as hospitalization, transportation, educational and labor support, and medical and rehabilitation care. The agency highlighted that the measure 'not only provides predictability to the system, but also recognizes the work and commitment of the professionals who accompany people with disabilities every day'.
