During May, the National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) continues with the payment of the extraordinary bonus of $70,000 aimed at retirees and pensioners who receive the lowest incomes. However, those whose benefits exceed $366,395 will be excluded from this benefit.
The groups eligible to receive the bonus in May are retirees and pensioners of the Argentine Integrated Retirement System (SIPA), holders of Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) for old age, disability, or mothers of seven children, and beneficiaries of the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM).
With the 3.7% increase in May, the minimum benefits with the bonus are as follows: minimum retirement of $296,396. Those whose benefits exceed this figure but are less than $366,395 will receive a proportional bonus to reach that last amount.
For example, to access the total amount of $70,000, it is necessary to have a benefit equal to or less than the minimum retirement of $296,396. In the case of the PUAM, the amount without the bonus is $237,116.79 and with the bonus rises to $366,396. Meanwhile, for the PNC for disability and old age, the amount without the bonus is $207,477.19.
ANSES has detailed a payment schedule for May 2025, where dates are established according to the termination number of the DNI. It is important to meet the established requirements to receive the full bonus or a proportional part of it.
