Former President Cristina Kirchner shared a graphic showing the participation of wage earners in Argentina's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from 1935 to 2024. The graphic was prepared by Argendata, belonging to the FUNDAR foundation, and according to Kirchner, it is an impartial source, not linked to Peronism or Kirchnerism.
In her publication, Kirchner pointed out three periods of high purchasing power for workers: 1942 to 1954, during Perón's rise from the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare; 1974, the year of Perón's death; and 2003 to 2015, under three Peronist or Kirchnerist governments.
The vice president from 2019 to 2023 expressed her concern about the current situation, where the majority of Argentinians do not have enough money to cover their basic needs. She also related the deterioration of wages to political and judicial decisions, mentioning that those responsible for periods of higher worker participation in GDP have been persecuted and banned.
Cristina Kirchner criticized the cyclical return of officials linked to economic crises and indebtedness, emphasizing those connected to the financial scams of 2001 and 2018. According to her, these actors repeatedly return to hold positions in the state.
In her message, the former president also launched harsh criticisms against the government of Javier Milei, the liberal leadership, and those responsible for previous crises. With one of her characteristic phrases, Kirchner concluded her publication: "As I always say, in Argentina... EVERYTHING GOES WITH EVERYTHING."
