Officials Present Agreement with the IMF

Officials from the economic team presented to the Bicameral Legislative Procedure Commission aspects of the agreement with the IMF presented by the Government through a DNU. After a delay of almost two hours due to conflicts in forming the commission, the officials' presentation began. The presentation included the Secretary of Finance, Pablo Quirno, the Secretary of Economic Policy, José Luis Daza, the Secretary of Legal and Technical Affairs, José García Hamilton, all from the Ministry of Economy, and the director of the Central Bank, Marcelo Griffi.

In his intervention, Quirno, the first to speak, outlined the essential points raised in the DNU, emphasizing that "this public credit operation has certainty regarding the timelines, costs, and, more importantly, the use. It is the first agreement that does not request budgetary support because the fiscal accounts are balanced."

The presentation continues to develop, and the information process is underway.
